From Department Store to Hotel Casino
The Circus Circus Reno is a hotel casino located in Reno, Nevada. It is owned by MGM Resort International. The hotel features more than a thousand hotel rooms and a 65,000 square foot casino that performs free circus acts on a regular basis throughout the day. The hotel is named as the second largest hotel in Reno.
The main structure was originally built as a department store which in 1957 was the only department store in Nevada. Nowadays, the hotel has many entertainment and special events.
